At BIOSWEEP®, we know how difficult and harmful it can be to live or work in an environment with cigarette smoke. The BIOSWEEP® solution is fast, effective, safe, and completely chemical free.
Forget the Temporary Fixes BIOSWEEP® is the only technology the permanently removes smoke odor. We don’t use odor masking chemicals that simply hide smoke smell.
BIOSWEEP TREATMENT utilizes specially-manufactured photo-catalytic oxidation systems, the most powerful of its kind in restoration and decontamination applications, to eradicate airborne and surface organic molecules and microorganisms.
To eliminate odors, BIOSWEEP TREATMENT systems use a low-temperature, yet high-intensity / residue-free process called advanced photocatalytic oxidation (Phocatox) to produce ultra-high levels of vapor-phase hydrogen peroxide, purified ozone and hydrogen radicals. These three active exports are unsurpassed for their penetrating oxidative power to remove virtually any embedded or persistent odor in a confined space and restore healthy indoor air quality.
BIOSWEEP TREATMENT eliminates the need for deodorization or chemical fogging and is environmentally friendly.

Smoke Remediation Process
Treating a home for smoke damage is a five-step process designed to ensure a thorough, effective, and successful outcome!
- Step 1: On-site inspection (15-60 minutes)We meet with the homeowner to understand the initial odor level, discuss potential challenges, the condition of home at time of treatment (furnished, vacant), form a treatment plan and arrange for home access. After this meeting we can provide pricing.
- Step 2: Setup (approx. 2 hours)
We prepare the home by closing windows, sealing fireplaces and other exterior vents, and opening all cabinets and closets. We remove the furnace filter, and we increase the heat and humidity. Finally, we turn on the machines and verify proper saturation levels throughout the home. - Step 3: Treatment (20–30 hours)
Machines run to neutralize smoke odor. Depending on the required time, we return every 8–10 hours to adjust the treatment. Once the machines turn off, carbon filters activate begin removing the post-process scent. - Step 4: Pickup & Finalization (2 hours)
After we remove the equipment, the home is safe to occupy. Open windows as needed to air out the remaining inert BioSweep scent. Note: A slight “indoor pool” or “hospital” smell may linger for a few days. - Step 5: Walk-through Ideally, we meet with the owner for a final walk-through. Though rare, there are times when the smoke odor becomes noticeable after 3 or 4 days. Do not wait, give me a call so that we can solve the problem. I want to earn your 5-star review!
